Taeron XLine Generation II rope is the newest techology in synthetic ropes for helicopter lifting applications. Designed to meet the inspectability requirements of the USFS and manufactured in the United States, XLine Generation II rope is the first synthetic rope designed from the ground up with helicopter lifting applications in mind.

XLine Generation II Rope combines the rugged and proven construction of XLine Generation I rope with a clear polyurethane extrusion, allowing for inspection of the double braid rope underneath.

Using proven Plasma® 12-strand rope as a load bearing core, a high visibility PET overbraid is added, and a clear polyurethane extrusion is applied. This combination provides inspectability, high visibility, and protection from particulate and UV.

The lines are terminated using an injection cast urethane protective bumper, sealing the fiber completely from environmental effects.

No more expensive hand-made covers with damage-prone zippers. Taeron Systems' proven, removable HEET™ termination provides the highest quality, reusable and reconfigurable longline termination on the market.

HEET™ combines a rugged urethane rubber guard over the line ends, standard length or extended alloy shackles, and add-on options like the Taeron Fly Disc. HEET™ allows end hardware (lifting rings, hooks, electric swivels, etc.) to be changed out in minutes without messy extra hardware linkage components.

And the best part? The HEET™ termination is reusable over multiple life cycles of the line to save long-term costs, and interchangeable between 1/2" and 5/8" line sizes.
